Ameni Metsahel, M.A., is a clinical psychologist. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and Psychopathology from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and a University Diploma in Cognitive-Behavioral and Emotional Therapies from the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis. Previously, Ameni has been involved in research focused on reducing stigma and discrimination related to mental illness. She participated in the international INDIGO study, which examines mental health stigma and discrimination in low- and middle-income countries. Within the CHiRP program, Ameni is actively involved in both clinical care and mental health research. She serves as the E-TAU therapist, conducting group CBT-inspired therapy, providing individual therapy, performing clinical assessments, managing the clinical database, and participating in the community outreach program.
