One of our objectives is to train health professionals likely to be involved in the care of Tunisian youth at possible risk for mental illness. To date, we have organized several training sessions for the following professional groups:

• Psychiatry residents, psychologists and young psychiatrists in Tunisia
• Primary care physicians
• School psychologists

There are several training courses that are available for psychiatry residents and Master’s level psychologists at Razi University Hospital on the CAARMS, BPRS, and the SCID-5, and the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) for psychiatry residents. In addition, Mentorship can be provided to the screening and assessment team by the Study Co-investigators Drs. Larnaout and Aissa through bi-weekly ongoing Quality Assurance – Case Conference meetings that provided additional mentorship in symptom assessment and diagnostic accuracy organized and supervised by the UCLA M-PI, Joseph Ventura, Ph.D.
